How to install servo motor to KUKA manipulator?

Installing a servo motor to a KUKA manipulator is a relatively complex process that requires certain steps and precautions to be followed. Here is a detailed installation guide:


1. Prepare

Confirm the servo motor model: Ensure that the selected servo motor model is compatible with the KUKA arm.

Check accessories: Make sure all necessary accessories such as couplings, screws, gaskets, etc. are complete.

Tools: Prepare required installation tools, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and micrometers.

2. Installation Procedure

Installation location selection:

Choose an indoor, no water, no dust, no corrosive gas and good ventilation location for installation.

Servo motor installation:

Install the servo motor vertically on the metal base plate to ensure secure installation.
