The calibration method for the KUKA robot teaching pendant screen varies depending on the model of the teaching pendant.
New teaching pendant (such as KRC4)
The new teaching pendant usually uses a capacitive screen, and its calibration steps are relatively simple, mainly adjusting the sensitivity of the touch screen:
1.Rotate the key on the teaching pendant to enter the mode selection interface.
2.Press the "Main Menu" button on the teaching pendant and select "Configuration" - "Touch Sensitivity" in sequence.
3.In the touch screen adjustment interface, there are two modes to choose from: Normal and High.
By default, it is in Normal mode. If you find that the touch screen is not sensitive, you can choose High mode to adjust the screen sensitivity.
After completing the selection, the screen calibration of the new teaching pendant is completed.
Old teaching pendant
Older teaching devices usually use resistive screens, and their calibration steps are relatively complex:
1.0Rotate the key on the teaching pendant.
2.Press the main menu button, enter the corresponding interface, and click "Display".
3.In the "Display" interface, find and click on the "Calibrate" option.
4.After entering the calibration interface, use the teaching pen to click on the center of the cross on the screen.
According to the movement of the cross center, click multiple times to ensure accurate calibration.
After calibration is completed, the center of the cross will stop moving.
5.After completing the calibration, turn the key of the teaching pendant back to its original position, and the teaching pendant will display a normal interface.
Please note that before performing screen calibration, please ensure that you understand and are familiar with the operating methods and precautions of the teaching pendant to avoid equipment damage or personal injury caused by misoperation.
At the same time, there may be slight differences in calibration steps between different models of KUKA robot teaching aids. Therefore, it is recommended to refer to the user manual of the specific model or contact KUKA robot technical support for more accurate calibration guidance.
