The IRB 4400 is robust, well-balanced and uses TrueMoveTM to maintain smooth and fast motion throughout the working range, ensuring high quality manufacturing in applications such as cutting. The IRB 4400's high-speed maneuvering capability makes it suitable for applications where both speed and flexibility are required. The compact design of the protective robot can also be used in production environments such as casting and spraying, where ordinary robots are not capable. The Cast Expert IRB 4400 is IP67 rated and resistant to high pressure steam cleaning, making it ideal for harsh production environments.

The IRB 4400 has a robust construction and long intervals between routine maintenance. The robot uses a well-balanced double-bearing articulated steel arm, the second shaft is equipped with a torsion brace, and it is equipped with a maintenance-free gearbox and cables to achieve extremely high reliability. To ensure economical operation, the IRB 4400's drivetrain is optimised for low power consumption and high torque.
Multiple communication methods pave the way for device integration
The IRB 4400 robot has a variety of communication methods including serial port, network interface, PLC, remote I/O and fieldbus interface, which can be easily integrated with small manufacturing stations and large factory automation systems.
