Food grade lubrication and clean room options
The optional version of Food Grade Lubrication (NSF H1) provides clean room ISO 3 and IP67 protection to ensure the safety and hygiene of the food and beverage industry. Clean room ISO 3 design prevents contamination of food handling areas. With a smooth surface and special coating, the optional version is easy to clean and store, and is suitable for a variety of food industry applications, such as CNC machine loading and unloading and material handling, reducing the beat time by up to 10% while saving 15% of the floor space.
SafeMove software
The IRB 1200 SafeMove version, ABB's smallest robot equipped with this advanced safety monitoring and control software, strictly limits the robot's movements to the required range for a specific application, allowing the robot and operator to work more closely together.
Compact structure
The IRB 1200 has no convex second axis, an innovative design that allows it to have a longer travel than other smaller robots, significantly reducing the distance between the robot and the workpiece without compromising its superior performance. For small workstations such as electronic processing and polishing, its compact advantage is particularly outstanding when the robot is mounted in a suspended ceiling. The IRB 1200 has a small body and a large effective working range, which helps to speed up production and reduce equipment space.
Foundry Expert II generation
The IRB 1200 is also available with the ABB Foundry Plus2 protection grade, enabling it to operate in harsh environments for heavy metal casting and automotive applications.
